Exercise Physiology

An exercise physiologist (EP) aims to improve overall health, well-being and physical function. EPs provide individualised and evidence-based exercise interventions for a wide variety of chronic health conditions, injuries and disabilities. Examples of these conditions include:

  • Lower back pain
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Stroke
  • Falls prevention
  • Musculoskeletal injuries
  • Overweight/obesity
  • Heart disease

Exercise physiology services are available through:

  • Private patients
  • Medicare (Chronic Disease Management/Enhanced Primary Care) plans
  • Workers Compensation
  • Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance
  • Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
  • NDIS
  • Private health insurance
  • Lifetime Care

Patients can usually be seen on the day of referral; emergencies are always seen immediately.
